Good Morning Bowling Green Middle School!

Welcome to the Bobcat Broadcaster here are our morning announcements:

Cat Track Winners:  K Hays, Huber, Moran, Skillman, Wire, Bierly, Buffington, Grote, C Hays, Turner, Becker, Bibb, Cross, Dennis/Gregg, Gregory, Wilson.  There is ice cream if grade levels want to do their own dishing.

Please turn in your TDap/Meningitis permission slip in by Friday.

There is a sign- up sheet and information packet in the middle school office for Middle School Cheerleading try outs. Tryouts will be May 4th thru 6th.   


Just a reminder to student – all accounts will need to be current for you to attend any year end activities including field trips, dances. If you have questions about your account stop by the office.  If your lunch account is negative you are not to order doubles.


April 19th – Track meet at Winfield bus will leave at 2:15.


April 20th – Any 8th grader interested in tryouts for the High School Cheerleading Team needs to attend the informational meeting on April 20th at 7:45 am in Miss Hall’s room; room 22. If you cannot make this meeting  please make other arrangements to talk with Miss Hall to get the necessary forms.


April 22nd – If you are interested in Cross Country for next year there will be an informational meeting at 2:45 in lower cafeteria. This meeting is for all grades levels.


April 25th – Track meet at home starting at 4:00


April 27th – PCMH will be offering free physical at the high school from 4:30 – 6:00 physical forms are available in the office.  Physicals are good for 1 year. If you plan on playing sports next year you will need a physical.


April 28th Last Congress Meeting in Art Room – this is one of the last point opportunities


May 4th – Final Council Meeting – this is the final point opportunities


The SLC will be doing a change war between each grade level the week of May 2-May 6.  Our change will be going to Every Child Every Day, which is the program that puts together the food backpacks to our kids in our district and does the summer lunch program at the park.  We will determine the prize for the winning class during our Congress meeting April 30th.  

May 2nd – 6th - Art Show in the display cases by the middle school gym. Stop by and vote for your favorite art project


May 3rd – Mrs. Gregory’s ELA class will presenting the live museum. Presentations will start at 9:45 in the auditorium.


May 5th – Track meet at Montgomery starting at 4:00 bus will leave at 2:15


May 6th – Last dance of the season 6-8  ms gym


May 24th – D.A.R.E. day at Busch Stadium, order forms are in the office


MAY 16TH – 8TH GRADE PROMOTION AT 7:00 PM in the High School Gym


Yearbooks for sale - $20.00 each order forms are available on the application wall.
