Good Morning Bowling Green Middle School!

Welcome to the Bobcat Broadcaster here are our morning announcements:

Cat Track Winners; Aubuchon, K Hays, Huber, Skillman, Bierly, Buffington, Grote, C Hays, Turner, Becker, Gregory, Scherder, Wilson.  Mrs. Pafford will do goodies today

Great job last night at the Montgomery County Track Meet, you all did an amazing job.  Boys won 1st place and girls received 2nd place. Way to go!

There will be a Volleyball meeting next Wednesday May 4th for all grade levels  in Mrs. Allensworth’s room in the high school room 25 at 8:00 am, if you can’t make the meeting see Mrs. Allensworth.

May 2 – 4th - The SLC will be doing a change war between each grade levels.  Our change will be going to Every Child Every Day, which is the program that puts together the food backpacks to our kids in our district and does the summer lunch program at the park.  We will determine the prize for the winning class during our Congress meeting April 30th.  

May 2nd – 6th - Art Show in the display cases by the middle school gym. Stop by and vote for your favorite art project, See Mrs. Grote to vote for your favorite art project by Friday.


May 3rd –Auditions for the Talent Show afterschool, if you want to be in the talent show you must audition. The signup sheet is on the SLC Board. Please make arrangements to be picked up.


May 4th – Final Council Meeting – this is the final point opportunities.

Track pictures will start at Cat time and finish up afterschool, please make sure you make arrangements to be picked up afterschool, we will be taking pictures at the track weather permitting. Picture forms are in the office turn them into the photographer that day.


May 5th – Teen health fair in the HS auditorium from 9 to 3


May 6th - SLC Pie throwing sign-up on bulletin board we still need 7th graders to sign up.

All library books need to be turned

Last dance of the year, 8th grade will get in free cost for others 3.00 without school id and 2.00 with id

Cross Country forms are due to Mr. Gregg


May 7th - Macon Music Festival, students need to be here at 10:30 bus to leave at 11:00.


May 9th – Band Concert at 7 p.m. cost is $2.00 for adults or $1.00 for students


May 10th – Lighthouse applications are due.


MAY 16TH – 8TH GRADE PROMOTION AT 7:00 PM in the High School Gym


Yearbooks for sale - $20.00 each order forms are available on the application wall.

Just a reminder to student – all accounts will need to be current for you to attend any year end activities including field trips, dances. If you have questions about your account stop by the office.  If your lunch account is negative you are not to order doubles.
