Good Morning Bowling Green Middle School!

Welcome to the Bobcat Broadcaster, here are our morning announcements:


October is National Bullying Prevention Month.


Sign up for concessions and veteran's day committees are on the office windows. Please get signed up for activities.  Remember you will have to have 8 pts, and be in good standing to go on the trip. Those trying to earn your way onto SLC have to have 4 pts by end of 1st quarter and a total of 10 all together, and be in good standing, to go on the end of the year trip.  


October 2nd – 12th there will be a change war, each Cat time should have a milk jug to collect loose change or bills to be donated towards Henderson Middle School. This school was damaged during hurricane Harvey. The grade that collects the most money will have get a point toward the spirit stick. The Ultimate Win-Win.


October 3rd – Bobcat Bully Patrol meeting afterschool in Lab 6 and Football game at Centralia start time is 5:00 pm you will be released at Cat time


October 9th - boys’ and girls’ basketball practice will begin for 7th and 8th grade you MUST have a physical on file at the high school to practice. Physical forms are on the application wall.


October 10th – Art Club Window Painting, you do not need to be in art to participate. Meet in Mrs. Grote’s room at 3:15 theme is Sponge Bob. Prizes for the top window design.


October 12th will be PJ Day, pay a 1.00 to your 1st hour teacher to wear your PJ’s Harvey victims. All proceeds will go to the school we adopted. The grade level who raises the most money will be given a spirt stick.  


October 27th – Halloween Dance Cost is $3.00 you must be in good standing to attend.


November 3rd – Hat day pay $1.00 to you 1st hour teacher to wear your hat. Money collected will go to help with our Veterans Day Program.


November 10th is our Veterans Day Program – more info to follow


Lunch Choice for Today:  Corn Dog or Chicken Nachos with White Queso sides Texas Pintos or Salad, Madarin Oranges or Taco Salad with Cornbread or Opaa to Go! Club Sandwich or PB&J with Yogurt with Garden Salad, Baby Carrots with Ranch Dressing, Chilled Fruit, Chocolate Chip Cookie


Birthdays:  Saturday Birthdays were Kyle Straube and Sunday was Jaten McCollum and today is Braden Buffington make sure you wish them a happy birthday
