Good Morning Bowling Green Middle School!

Welcome to the Bobcat Broadcaster, here are our morning announcements:

It is Constitution Week – what does that mean is the commemoration of America's most important document. It is celebrated annually during the week of September 17-23. The United States Constitution stands as a testament to the tenacity of Americans throughout history to maintain their liberties, freedoms and inalienable rights.

 

There are extra yearbooks for sale see Mrs. Becker they are $13.00 deadline is September 27th.

 

If interested in entering a poster contest through Healthy Minds Healthy Lives please pick up more information outside Mrs. Bowman’s door.  All entries’ can be turned into Mrs. Bowman by September 28th.

 

Cross country did wonderful last night Boys won – Trenton Griffith got 1st, Ben Chance got 6th and Jose Soto got 8th. Girls Jordan Stafford got 3rd and Rachael Klott got 11th. Great Job! Also you will have practice at the High School track afterschool Coach Chance will run practice today and Ms. Becker will walk you over meet at Mr. Gregg’s room afterschool.

 

September 18th – MS Speech and Drama will meet in Mr. Hammett’s room afterschool from 3:25 to 4:30, please make sure you have someone to pick you up at 4:30. Softball at Clopton start time is 5:00 and Football at Winfield start time is 5:30.

 

September 20th Volleyball at Wright City at 5:00, Softball at home @ 4:30 and Cross country at Palmyra @ 4:00

 

September 21st – early release – Homecoming parade starts at 3:00 pm, you can’t stay on school ground afterschool unsupervised.

 

Homecoming week dress up days are as follows:

Tuesday – Decades Day! Throw it back to the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s or any ear you please.

Wednesday – Fun Sock Day! Wear crazy, fun socks!

Thursday – App Day! Dress up to represent your favorite social app (from Snapchat to Fortnite)!

Friday – Red and Black Day! Deck yourself out in all red and black. Show some school spirit.

 

September 28th – Dodgeball cost is $5.00 per person; you don’t have to have a team set up you just pay to play. Please pay Mr. Gregg. We must have at least 30 people to play or it will be cancelled. Make sure to get your money to Mr. Gregg as soon as possible.

 

October 9th – Edible Slime sign up by Mrs. Grote’s door.

 

Lunch Choice for Today: BBQ Pork on Bun or Frito Pie this is a pile of Fritos smothered with Chili and Cheese or Taco Salad with Corn Bread salad, Honey Baked Beans and Orange Pineapple Mix or OPAA to go PB&J with Yogart, Carrots with ranch and Chilled Fruit
