Last week, Art 3 & 4 traveled to Jefferson City to tour the capitol and to study the Thomas Hart Benton mural in the House Lounge. Benton's mural will be inspiration for an upcoming project on the History of Bowling Green. Missouri Representative, Chad Perkins, took our students around to see various murals, and busts of famous Missourians including Champ Clark.

Daily Announcements February 3rd 1. Juniors and Seniors-If you would like to sign up to attend “To Kill a Mockingbird” at the Fox the evening of March 1st, please sign up with Mr. Hurst or Mrs. Bowen by February 7th. There is no cost to attend outside of buying dinner, but there will be a drawing next Tuesday after school if there are more people who sign up than we have tickets. 2. FBLA District Leadership Conference Attendees, the conference has been rescheduled for Monday, February 13. Plan to be ready at school by 7:00 AM that morning dressed in professional business attire. 3. Josten’s will be here to take orders for class rings and letter jackets February 8th beginning at CAT time 11:10 am through lunch 1:00 pm and after school until 6 pm. 4. There will be an FBLA meeting on Tuesday, February 7 during CAT Time in Mrs. Robinson’s room. We will have speakers to talk about business. 5. No School Monday teacher work day

There are many career options with this company: labor, equipment operator, engineer, accountant, business positions, etc. If you are off campus in the afternoon for Job Shadowing or Internship, please make plans to see this presentation at 1:30.
