February is National Heart Disease Awareness month and today was National Wear Red Day! The American Heart Association emphasizes #WearRedDay to specifically raise awareness of women's heart disease and stroke risks.
Since we did not have school today we still wanted to participate to bring awareness to this issue, and show support to those that have had a heart related health concern. This cause especially close to our hearts at BGHS this year as Mandi Gregory, ELA teacher, had a heart attack in November. Her story is included in the pictures.
