There is a poster contest for Red Ribbon Week. Theme is Celebrate Life Live Drug Free. Turn your poster into Mrs. Bowman by Monday October 17th. Please include your name, grade on back of poster.

September 21st – Volleyball @ Troy Middle School @ 5:00, Chess club will be starting again this year. It will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 3:15 to 4:15. If you stay you need to make sure your parents know before the end of the day and you have someone to pick you up at 4:15.

The softball game on Tuesday at Clopton will start at 6:00 pm now due to the projected high temperatures. We will push the bus back one hour
CC information for Monday - "Due to the predicted temperatures in the mid-90s forecast for Monday's cross country meet we are going to push our start time for the junior high girls' race back to 5PM with the junior high boys race to follow.
Our junior high course is one 2500m loop so it will be one of the shorter races for those athletes. Your kids get to stay in school for another hour before leaving as well!"

Homework advantage starts on tomorrow for 6th and 7th grade. 8th grade starts after Labor Day. If you stay for homework advantage it is from 3:15 – 4:15, you must make sure your parent knows you are staying and you must be picked up at 4:15. Homework advantage is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:15.
If you are riding a different bus than normal you will need a note from your parent and a bus pass. You must get bus passes before the end of the day.

MS Cheer practices will begin on Friday; please make sure you have your physicals turned in. There will also be a parent meeting at 4:15 that night in the lower cafeteria.
Please complete your students online enrollment as soon as possible. If your student has not received a Chromebook, papers will be going home with them on Monday. Please fill out the paper (and send insurance money if you choose) and send it with your student on Tuesday. We will be handing out Chromebooks again on Tuesday. Online enrollment must be completed before your student will recieve a Chromebook.
