Don't forget about our Internet and Cell Phone presentation for parents on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the MS Gym.

It is finally that time of year for BGMS artists. Each week we will feature a student or students'
artwork in special frames for Artist of the Week. The student’s work will be featured on our
school's Facebook page, and the artist(s) will receive a certificate. The students at BGMS are
creating art in a TAB (Teaching Artistic Behavior) classroom. The students get a mini lesson on
an artist or material technique, which the students can use in their masterpieces or not.
Students plan and create in the studio of their choice, working like true artists. This week the
Artists of the Week are Jessica Boyd and Breanna Jennings.

BGMS is sending a reminder about our kindness page! Students, staff, parents, community members, anyone, can post a positive uplifting message. It can be to an individual, a group, a teacher, the community or the entire school! All messages will be approved by admin before being displayed on the kindness wall.
You can go to the MS webpage, Menu, scroll down, and click on School Kindness e-wall.
From there you will need to enter your email and password (which you create) in order to submit a message. This email will not be displayed with the message. Therefore, messages can be left anonymously if one wishes to do so.
This can be utilized throughout the entire year and for anything! Let's start encouraging one another! Messages will be displayed where all students can see them!

6th Grade October Newsletter

As a reminder, all BGMS students attending middle school and high school sporting events must be accompanied by an adult. While they are in attendance, they are to remain in the stands to watch the game. They should only be out of the stands if they are using the restroom or the concession stand. We have had several issues this year with students running around and congregating between the bleachers and concession stand, playing in the grassy areas around the field, and throwing candy and popcorn into the stands instead of watching the football game. If a student has to be addressed for their behavior, they will be addressed with their parent and administrator and required to sit with their parent for the remainder of the night. If a parent is not present, a call will be made, and the student will be sent home.

Congratulations to Leah Adams-Lovell on being Mrs. Walker's September CAT Time Student of the Month. Great job!

October Newsletter

With the Special Education Office no longer located on the high school side of campus, the double doors that lead into the middle school lower cafeteria will be locked after 8:05. There will be no one available to let students in through those doors after that time. Any middle school students who arrive at school after this time must be dropped off at the middle school office.
