The 6th-grade LE Social Studies class worked on a fun travel project in which students picked a place they’d love to visit and planned the entire trip. They looked up flights, chose things to do, found places to eat, and made sure everything fit within a budget. It all came together in presentations where they shared their travel plans.

Mila Bell - 1st place, Blake Scherder - 2nd place, and Ellis Hickerson - 3rd place

The 8th-grade Advanced Art Class visited the ECC to create Mother's Day and special-person crafts with the Pre-K and daycare kids. It was so much fun, and the 8th graders loved every minute of it!

Each month we want to recognize a student from each grade level who exemplifies a positive characteristic that we look for in all of our students. They must also have at least 95% attendance, 0 office referrals, and 0 F's for the month. Once they have met these qualifications they are voted on by staff.
March's Characteristic is Patience.
Congratulations to our March Middle School Students of the Month!!!

On April 9th at the State Capitol in Jefferson City, these 4 students, Brylee Coleman, Quinn Piper, Natalie Dunn, and Wyatt Carter, were recognized and celebrated for having their artwork selected and displayed in the Youth Art Month Art Show (YAM). Every spring, the Missouri Arts Education Association will display up to 4 artworks by students from across the state of Missouri at YAM. The work is displayed for a whole month on the third floor of the Capitol Rotunda. This is a huge accomplishment for student artists. Thanks to all the families that came to support their students' amazing artwork! GREAT job artists!! So proud!
