Mrs. Colbert will be hosting the Truman Book Club in the library this fall, it will begin on September 7th afterschool in the library. It will meet each Thursday from after school until 4:30 pm. This is open to any grade level. This is a great opportunity to get your AR goal. The club is also looking at doing some Meet the Author events this year also. You will read books on the Truman award list. Any questions, see Mrs. Colbert. Mrs. Kroencke will be hosting a 6th grade book club starting September 6th from 3:25 to 4:30 pm. If you plan on attending make sure you have someone to pick you up at 4:30. Cell phones need to be put away when you walk in the building in the morning. They need to be in your locker and turned off. Please make sure you know what your pick up plans are for afterschool by mid-day. You can use the phone in the office to contact your parents. I have to have a note and a call from your parent/guardian if you are riding a different bus and you will need to get a bus pass by cat time. Make sure you keep track of your schedule. This has your parents phone number on top if you need to use the phone in the office to call them.
